Saya ngah study PHILOSOPHY OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION (PHILO)... 7hb ni iaitu pada hari ahad ni exam. Takut n gerun gak subjek ni sbb mdm ska wat soklan CRITICAL THINKING. Mmg CRITICAL la soklan mdm. Dah la CAM ( Course Assessment Mark) tak banyak pun...wiso ni...Ni la salah 1 faktor saya kna elak dr trtido. tapi saya sangat mengantuk. Untuk mengelakkan sifat mengantuk, saya buka ' AKU DAN SESUATU' ni... Saya ngah study 'PHILO' topic: WORLD CONFERENCE 1977. Marilah kita kongsi bersama-sama apa isi kandungan CONFERENCE 1977. Moga ilmu kita makin bertambah. Ameen..
A synopsis of the Conference
- 1st World Conference on Muslim Education
- at Makkah
- 31 March & 8 April 1977
THEME: " BASIS FOR AN ISLAMIC EDUCATION SYSTEM"
ORGANIZED: King Abdul Aziz University & Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
ORGANIZING COMMITTEE: Prof. Syed Ali Ashraf
Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Zaid
Dr. G. N. Saqeb
- 350 Muslim scholars from various parts of the world & from different areas of disciplines & specializations attended the conference.
RECOMMENDATIONS
1) Islamization of knowledge
2) Manners
3) Establishment of the Islamic Unversity and it's concept
THE AIM OF EDUCATION IN RELATION TO NATURAL SCIENCE WAS:
- to motivate human intellect
- to ponder on the universe
- to understand the nature of things & beings that are comprehensible
- to discover Allah's laws of nature & use them beneficially
- enable man to be the vicegerent of Allah on earth
THE RESULT OF THIS CONFERENCE
1) Establishment of the 1st Islamic University, IIUM (20 Mei 1983)
2) Arabic & Fiqh = compulsory university requirement courses
3) University took steps to gradually Islamize the subjects in the sosial sciences & the effort continues
4) Since then, other Islamic Universities have been established in different parts of the world following the model of IIUM.
- Penat taip.......dah tak ngantuk....=) terima kasih 'AKU DAN SESUATU' kerana memberi layanan istimewa kepadaku. Allahhu Akhbar....!! Allahu Akhbar....!! Tiba2 kedengaran suara azan mendayu- dayu...Jom solat dlu....dah ASAR....
